Ron is a pharmacist and holds an MBA Degree from Bradford University (UK). His key areas of interest and expertise are pharmaceutical needs identification and quantification, finance and cost control of drug supply, pharmaceutical warehouse management, procurement and supply chain strategy development.
Ron has fully dedicated his career towards improving the pharmaceutical healthcare in developing countries. He has lived and worked for over 7 years in Africa training pharmaceutical cadres at Evelyn Hone College (Zambia), improving pharmaceutical supply systems at CHAZ (Zambia ) and managing the pharmaceutical procurement and warehousing at Joint Medical Store (Uganda).

In 2001, Ron returned to the Netherlands to join IDA Foundation in the position of Pharmacist Sales & Marketing which exposed him to the global aspects of essential drug supply, particularly in relation to anti-retrovirals and tuberculosis medicines.
Ron lives in Ankeveen, the Netherlands.
