Phasuma is based in the Netherlands and is an association of international consultants with extensive experience in pharmaceutical supplies and/or healthcare in developing countries. Ron Wehrens (Netherlands, 1967).
Ron is a pharmacist and holds an MBA Degree from Bradford University (UK). His key areas of interest and expertise are pharmaceutical needs identification and quantification, finance and cost control of drug supply, pharmaceutical warehouse management, procurement and supply chain strategy development.

Elena Wagner (Ukraine, 1973).
Elena's original background and qualifications are in psychology and public health. Through her work in HIV/AIDS she gained experience in the procurement and managment of pharmaceutical supplies, including antiretrovirals. Her email address is e.wagner@phasuma.com
Michael Keizer (Netherlands, 1967)
Michael specialises in the integration of the supply line and in health supply policy. His background is originally in Information Management, but he is currently studying for his Master's degree in Public Health (specialising in health logistics and policy in developing countries). Michael has worked as a consultant and auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Dutch Central Bank, and as a logistician and consultant for organisations like Médecins Sans Frontières and UNICEF. Marcel van der Poel (Netherlands, 1962).
Marcel started working as a Senior Health Care Consultant with Ernst & Young. He then worked for nearly 4 years as Interim Hospital Director at Migori District Hospital, Kenya and over 3 years as manager Joint Medical Store, Uganda. Upon his return to the Netherlands, he worked as Project Manager at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Groningen University and Sales & Marketing Manager at IDA Foundation.

Miranda Brouwer
Dr Miranda Brouwer is a specialist in the supply for HIV and TB programs and a qualified Public Health Specialist. She currently lives in Mozambique and can be reached at m.brouwer@phasuma.com
